Judy Fricke is retiring from Emmanuel Lutheran Church after 37 years of service.
She and her husband, Pastor Milton Fricke, enjoys the celebration at the couple's retirement party Saturday morning at the Maui Tropical Plantation.
Pastor Fricke is retiring after serving for 40 years, and the couple were happy to greet a long line of friends and family at the event.
"All these wonderful friends are so much of our joy," Judy Fricke said.
The couple plan to kick off the new chapter in their lives by traveling around the United States.
