FARMERS SURVEYED ON WATER USAGE

WAILUKU - East Maui farmers and ranchers have until June 8 to complete a survey on agricultural water use in the area.

The survey by the Maui County Farm Bureau will provide data for the state Commission on Water Resource Management as it considers setting stream-flow standards for East Maui.

The farm bureau previously e-mailed the survey to farmers, ranchers and agricultural associations in the area. Anyone with questions about the survey may call MCFB Executive Director Warren Watanabe at 281-9718.
