Traffic in both directions on Kula Highway is being allowed through as deemed safe, as firefighters continue to mop up a brush fire in the area.
The road could close again if conditions change, said county Spokeswoman Mahina Martin.
A fire first reported at 2:10 p.m. Friday has burned an estimated 10-15 acres in a field next to King Kekaulike High School, according to a county release. No injuries or damage to structures were reported.
