The trip is proposed for October, and anyone interested in touring Japan with the club is requested to attend. The first 30 members to place a $500 deposit will be eligible for the tour, which will include a presentation of more than 5,000 origami cranes to the Hiroshima Peace Park, a visit to an onsen (natural hot spring) in Hakone, and tours of Kyoto, Osaka and Tokyo.

The deadline to sign up is June 30.
