Kaowili, who has been playing slack key for 30 years, said he loves the style because of its simplicity and purity. The event featured a long list of talented artists as well as local style food, hula, Hawaiian arts and crafts, and fun for the keiki. Locals and visitors enjoyed the free show as they stretched out on blankets or kicked back on beach chairs.
