FIRST PHOTO: Kaleb Wilstead of Boy Scout Troop 22 stands proudly with his American flag as he prepares to post the colors during the rededication of Mai-poina-oe-iau Beach Park on Friday morning in Kihei. Originally dedicated in 1952, the park honors all Maui County veterans who sacrificed their lives for their country. The north Kihei facility has new bathrooms and a janitor's closet, as well as a new parking area, shower and picnic area.
