* Art classes. Hui No'eau Visual Arts Center in Makawao will offer an eight-week keiki pottery class for ages 5 to 9 and 10 to 14 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Aug. 13. * Personal development seminars. Bruce Conching will present a series of personal development seminars designed to inspire and teach individuals to live in congruence. Session 1 "Discovery Weekend" will be from Aug. 14 to 16 and Aug. 28 to 30; session 2 "The Breakthrough Weekend" will be from Sept. 4 to 6; session 3 "Unlimited Possibilities" will be from Oct. 9 to 11. * Evening culinary classes. In an effort to respond to record campus enrollment and to make the culinary program more accessible to all prospective students, Maui Culinary Academy at Maui Community College will offer its basic skills classes of the highly acclaimed culinary program in the evening. * Hui Malama classes. Hui Malama Learning Center in Wailuku is currently accepting students for the 2009-2010 school year.
