DUI SENTENCES

The following sentences for driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor occurred during the period of July 28 to Aug. 3. The listings include the offender's name, age, residence and charges. First offenders undergo a 14-hour alcohol abuse rehabilitation program, a substance abuse evaluation and have their licenses suspended for 90 days; exceptions are noted.

Wailuku District Court:

Edward Begley, 58, Kihei; DUI; $412 fine.

Keith Feigum, 44, Wailuku; DUI, driving without a license, no insurance, lack of due care; $1,613 fine ($250 suspended for six months on condition of no further insurance violation), 72 Alcoholics Anonymous or Narcotics Anonymous meetings.

Curtis Lineberry III, 37, Kihei; DUI, driving without a license; $749 fine.

Second Circuit Court:

Thomas Moniz, 39, Kihei; third-degree promotion of a dangerous drug, possessing drug paraphernalia, DUI, driving while license suspended or revoked; 117-day jail term, five years' probation, $1,359 fine, one-year license suspension.
