"We now know that the effect of CO2 on temperature is small, we know why it is small and we know that it is having very little effect on the climate," according to professor Richard Siegmund Lindzen of MIT in a recently published peer-reviewed paper.
According to Wikipedia, Dr. Lindzen is an American atmospheric physicist known for his work in the dynamics of the middle atmosphere, atmospheric tides and ozone photochemistry. He has published more than 200 books and scientific papers. He is more qualified than most the scientists who created and support the IPCC global warming hoax.
Professor Lindzen further writes the U.N.-sponsored IPCC "has exaggerated the warming of the Earth six fold." Arctic sea ice is in fact on a 30-year increase trend. And there has been no statistically significant "global warming for almost 15 years . . . Statistically significant global cooling has persisted for very nearly eight years."
Our government, the U.N.'s IPCC and those of other nations have created a grant gravy train. Universities and scientists have become so dependent on global warming funding that faulty science is used to sustain their existence. In the Portland Civil Rights Examiner, Dianna Cotter writes this faulty science is being used on a global basis for governments promoting global-warming hysteria to justify increasing taxes with cap-and-trade taxation policies.
The debate really is "now over" and the global warming hoax can be put to rest.
