* Healthy cooking class. Joy's Place will offer a class titled "Homegrown for Dinner: Healthy Preparations for Locally Caught Fish and Maui Vegetables" at 5:30 tonight at the restaurant, 1993 S. * 'Ohana Connection. Karen McGinnis will present "Trying Something New at Mid-life!" during 'Ohana Connection at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Hale Maha'olu, Elima, 11 Mahaolu St. in Kahului. * Ki-aikido classes. Maui Ki-Aikido will hold an introductory ki-aikido course for adults and teens from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursdays in September at the Shunshinkan Dojo, 194 S. Market St. in Wailuku. Cost is $40 and includes a manual. Cost may be applied to the initiation fee if the participant joins Maui Ki-Aikido to continue training at the end of the four-week course.
