MAKENA - Cheyenne Bal and Hannibal Starbuck were married June 28, 2009, at Maluaka Beach in Makena, with the Rev. Vance Rosete officiating.
The bride and groom are both alumni of Baldwin High School.
The bride is the daughter of Norma Bal and the late Douglas Bal. She is a manager at Cafe 'O Lei Restaurant in Wailuku. The groom is the son of the late Peter and Dinah Starbuck. He is a teacher at Baldwin.
The maid of honor was the groom's sister, Una Starbuck; the best man was Ian Fisher; and the bride's twin children, Lilinoe and Kamahoe Bal, gave her away.
Family and friends from Maui and the Mainland were in attendance.
The newlyweds live in Waiehu.
