See Lahaina through the eyes of artist Carleton Kinkade. His oil painting titled "Got Surf Lahaina" was chosen as the winner of the LahainaTown Action Committee's 21st annual poster contest and will be the image for the Lahaina 2010 poster.
The original is currently on display and available for purchase at Village Gallery, 120 Dickenson St. in Lahaina. In addition, there will be 1,000 signed and numbered limited edition posters, available after Oct. 15 at the gallery. Advance orders may be placed at Village Gallery. Hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. For details, call 661-4402.
Considered a collector's item, an Official Lahaina Poster has been produced since 1989. The winning poster will also be available at galleries and other establishments to be announced.
