WAILUKU - Trash was not fully picked up along two routes in Kihei due to a staff shortage and mechanical problems Monday, according to the county Department of Environmental Management's Solid Waste Division.

The routes missed included Uwapo Road to Kupuna Street, between Piilani Highway and South Kihei Road.

Trash at those locations are expected to be picked up today.
