WAILUKU - The 'Aha O Na Mokupuni 'O Maui, Moloka'i and Lana'i (Tri-Isle Association) of the Hawai'i Conference, United Church of Christ, will meet at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Iao Congregational Church.
The church is at 2371 Vineyard St. in Wailuku.
The event will be attended by delegates from member churches, recognized ministries, covenanted partners and exploring churches, according to an event announcement.
Ray McGinnis, a member of the Canadian Memorial United Church in Vancouver, British Columbia, will serve as a resource person for "Writing the Sacred: A Psalm-writing Workshop." He previously served on the United Church of Canada staff for its Youth & Young Adult Ministries. He has taught writing workshops to more than 6,000 people in the United States and Canada since 1999.
The meeting will include worship, a short business session, lunch and fellowship.
Association officers are the Rev. Kealahou Alika of Keawala'i Congregational Church, president; Rena Hayashi of Iao Congregational Church, vice president and president-elect; Lynne Story of Po'okela Church, secretary; and Leslie Maeda of Po'okela Church, treasurer.
