MIL water polo: Lunas’ league winning streak reaches 38April 13, 2010

KIHEI --- The Lahainaluna High School water polo team extended its Maui Interscholastic League winning streak to 38 matches with a 9-6 victory over Kamehameha Maui on Tuesday at Kihei Aquatic Center. Kamaehu Alboro scored three goals for the Lunas (5-0). Koral Gill, Kayla Wall and Kelly Kohls had two apiece. Lahainaluna had already clinched the league's regular-season title, and a bye in the MIL tournament. Kaulana Ane scored two goals for the Warriors (2-3) on Tuesday. |
