KIHEI --- Kalei Guth and Kaulana Ane each scored five goals and Allyn Kalaiwaa added four as the Kamehameha Schools Maui water polo team defeated Baldwin 16-5 on Thursday in a Maui Interscholastic League game at Kihei Aquatic Center.
Behind three goals from Kalaiwaa, the Warriors (3-3) jumped out to a 4-1 lead in the first quarter. Kamehameha stretched its advantage to 10-2 by the end of the second period, when Guth recorded four of her team's six goals.
Allison King and Lauren Shinozuka led the Bears (0-5) with two goal apiece.
