Maui Prayer Breakfast on May 6
WAIKAPU - The Maui Christian Ministers Association will hold its third annual Maui Prayer Breakfast May 6.
The event coinciding with the National Day of Prayer will be from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the Maui Tropical Plantation.
Tickets cost $20 in advance, $22 at the door, or $200 to reserve a table for eight. To buy tickets, call 244-1286 or e-mail dofchurch@aol.com.

PUKALANI - Grace Church will host a free "Movie Under the Stars" at 7 p.m. May 1, featuring the "Cross and the Switchblade."
Movie buffs are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and warm blankets to watch the film on the church grounds. A youth group will sell refreshments.

Rededication service on Sunday
MAKAWAO - The Rev. Charles Buck will be the guest speaker during a rededication service Sunday at Po'okela Church.
The service will be held at 9 a.m. A luncheon will follow.
