Group for veterans meets Mondays

KAHULUI - Point Man International Ministries meets Monday evenings to help war veterans.

The nonprofit group convenes from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Salvation Army in Kahului. Refreshments are provided.

The nonprofit Christian outreach group is both religious and secular, said group spokesman the Rev. Ed Gazmen.

Point Man is led by vets for vets and their families. The group aims to provide a secure environment where veterans may come and feel unconditional acceptance.

Six-day conference begins Sunday

KAHULUI - Faith Family Fellowship will hold its annual Total-Life Prosperity Conference at 9 a.m. Sunday and at 7 p.m. Monday through May 28.

Televangelist Jerry Savelle will speak Monday through Wednesday nights.

There is no charge for the six-day conference at the church on the corner of Kanaloa Avenue and Kahului Beach Road.
