UH-MC accepting applications from students for summer jobs

KAHULUI - The University of Hawaii-Maui College is accepting applications for students to apply for summer jobs under a federal employment program.

Available jobs will include groundskeeping, maintenance and clerical work, as well as positions working directly with UH-MC faculty and staff in educational programs with a chance for career exploration.

The program is being offered through the Hawaii National Guard for youths ages 14 to 23. To qualify, household income for a family of four cannot be more than $152,208.

The Summer Jobs Program was created with a $3.4 million grant from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
