The Maui Youth & Family Services signature event, Growing Dreams, will hold its 10th anniversary celebration with a Broadway theme from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 7, at the Four Seasons Resort in Wailea. "Growing Dreams on Broadway" will feature Denver florist BJ Dyer as the guest floral designer. The event will offer a luncheon, a floral design workshop, and silent and live auctions.
"The show will definitely be enhanced with the Broadway theme, featuring some of the biggest shows, and we have an extra special surprise this year," said Teena Rasmussen, owner of Paradise Flower Farms on Maui and chairwoman of Growing Dreams.
Growing Dreams is an annual fundraising event for the nonprofit MYFS.
"Ultimately, the show helps MYFS to continue to provide services for Maui's abused and neglected children, including crucial foster care, mentoring and support," Rasmussen said.
