The seventh annual Molokai Film Festival returns Saturday, celebrating Hawaiian films, arts, culture and music from 4 to 11 p.m. at Hotel Molokai. Entry is free to all events.
Featuring world premiere films, the showings will include "Massacre at Kaupoa Beach;" "Journey to Kalaupapa;" "Kaho'olawe: An Island Healing;" "Hana Surf Girls;" "Pidgin: The Voice of Hawai'i;"?"A Legacy;" "Stones;" He Hawai'i Mau;" "I?Scream Floats and Sundays;" "Malama Holoa;" "Holomua;" "Heart Strings;" and others.
The MauiFEST Hawaii event will also highlight live music by Brother Noland, Calvin Hoe, Bradda Francis and Lono, and will offer nose flute and pu workshops with Hoe, along with hula, arts and crafts, and food. For more details, visit www.MauiFEST.net.
