The second annual Lana'i Film Festival returns Saturday, celebrating Hawaiian films, arts, culture and music from 4 to 11 p.m. at the Hotel Lana'i. Entry is free to all events.
Featuring world premiere films, the showings will include "GRAND Opening Lana'i Cultural and Heritage Center Film"; "Journey to Kalaupapa"; "Hana Surf Girls"; "Stones"; "Red Hibiscus"; "A Legacy"; "Pidgin: The Voice of Hawai'i"; "Heart Strings"; "I?Scream Floats and Sundays"; "Holomua"; "Malama Holoa" and others.
The MauiFEST Hawaii event will also highlight live music by Brother Noland, Calvin Hoe, Bradda Francis Koahou and Polihua Band and will also offer food, art and craft booths.
