PUKALANI - Visitors to Maikalani, the Maui home of the University of Hawaii Institute for Astronomy, will be invited to look through a telescope, tour laboratories, observe fun demonstrations and watch a live feed from the Faulkes Telescope North at an open house from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday.
This is the third annual open house at Maikalani, which is at 34 Ohia Ku St. (between Longs and Kamehameha Schools). Those attending the event are asked to park on the street.
The open house will go on rain or shine, although some activities will depend on the weather.
