"We were looking for a way to celebrate with many of our loyal customers who live here on Maui as well as with our visitors who return year after year," says owner Jurg Munch. "We are so thankful for all of the support and for the many friendships that we have made over the years."
Signature seafood entrees include tequila shrimp and firecracker rice served with Southwestern herbs and spices; and wild Pacific salmon fillet baked with pommery mustard in a caramelized Maui-onion crust with beurre blanc.
Or, you may opt for fresh catch grilled with sauteed spinach, Kula asparagus, broiled Olowalu tomatoes and thyme-flavored wild rice.
From the land comes confit of free-range duck in plum-wine reduction; and oven-roasted Shelton Farms all-natural chicken breast wrapped in crisp pancetta with Madeira-wine jus.
Executive Chef Arnulfo Gonzalez also makes some incredible house-made meatballs with all-natural veal, pork and angus beef, served over penne pasta, with fresh tomato-basil sauce. Meat lovers will find braised veal shank Osso Buco in a rich cabernet wine sauce with potato-celery puree.
The menu offers innovative New American cuisine that uses techniques and flavors from around the world, all blended with fresh ingredients, many from Maui's farms and fishers.
Other signature items include seared ahi and foie gras with fresh-fig compote; Maui onion-and-sesame-crusted ahi with vanilla-bean jasmine rice and triple berry pie with whipped cream.
