MAKENA - Drivers should be aware of intermittent road closures along Makena Alanui Road, fronting the Makena Beach & Golf Resort, on Saturday and Sunday due to the Xterra World Championship off-road triathlon.
Uniformed police officers will be directing traffic in the area from 8 to 10 a.m. on Saturday and again from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday.
The south entrance to Big Beach (Oneloa Beach) will also experience intermittent road closures on Sunday only.
