The Maui News

A series of illustrations that probe the relationship between technology and culture will be on display in "Microcosm," the next exhibition at Paia Tattoo Parlor Gallery. Created by Seabury Hall senior Valentin Miro-Quesada, the show opens with a reception from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday and continues through Dec. 8. Miro-Quesada is hailed by the gallery as an emerging young artist who offers exciting work, an example of high-caliber art from the next generation. His art centers on themes of nature and society, with strong reflections on the Internet. For details, call 579-8515 or visit paiatattooparlor.com.
