Grace Bible Church hosting speakers
KAHULUI - Grace Bible Church will present a slate of international speakers this weekend.
On Saturday, Harvest Evangelism Transformation representatives from Argentina, the Philippines and the United States will appear from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., telling how prayer effected positive change in their towns and countries. Father Dimitri Sala, a healing evangelist active with Chicago area churches, is among the speakers.
Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. at the church at 635 S. Hina Ave. in Kahului, with a lunch break at noon and the afternoon program at 1:15 p.m. Meals will not be provided.
On Sunday, King Flores of the Philippines will speak at two Grace Bible Church services. The first service will start at 9 a.m. in the Baldwin High School lecture hall, with Flores talking at 9:15 a.m. The second service will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the church on Hina Avenue, with Flores speaking at 10:15 a.m.

WAILUKU - A Chicago-based Franciscan monk will speak at 10 a.m. services Sunday at the Wailuku Door of Faith Church.
Father Dimitri Sala is the author of "The Stained Glass Curtain" about the bridge between the Protestant and Catholic communities.

Church marking 57th anniversary
LAHAINA - The Apostolic Faith Maui Branch Church (Jesus Coming Soon) in Lahaina will hold 57th anniversary services at 10 a.m. and at 7 p.m. Sunday.
Honolulu Pastor Billy Han Jr., who oversees Gospel work for the church, will preach a "spirit-filled and spirit-directed" sermon at each service, with the Maui Band, choir and orchestra also performing.
The church has its headquarters in Kalihi on Oahu.

'Catch the Fire!' begins Thursday
LAHAINA - Harvest Chapel Church of God at 590 Luakini St. in Lahaina will present a three-night "Catch the Fire! Holy Spirit Outpouring" program next weekend.
French L. Arrington will lead Bible study at 6 p.m. Thursday and Nov. 19 and 20, followed by worship services each evening.
Also, there will be a special service at 6 p.m. Nov. 20 at Molokai Church of God in Kaunakakai, and Sunday morning services Nov. 21 at 9 at Harvest Chapel in Lahaina; at 11 at Molokai Church of God; and at 9:30 at Lanai City Church of God.

Thanksgiving service Nov. 25
KAHULUI - Christian Science church will feature hymns of praise, testimonies of gratitude and a sermon from the Bible at a 10 a.m. Thanksgiving service Nov. 25 in its auditorium, the church announced. Child care will be available.
