Fundraiser set for dressage
PAIA - Tired of turkey? Eat pizza Tuesday at Flatbread Pizza from 6 p.m. to closing and help benefit the Hawaii State Dressage Society.
There will be a wide assortment of silent auction items for Christmas shopping, and Flatbread will donate a portion of the pizza sales to the society.
The Hawaii State Dressage Society is an Upcountry nonprofit that holds dressage competitions and promotes young riders and the safe and humane training of horses through the principles of classical riding. For more information, visit www.hsdsmaui.org.

'Maui Talks' program Tuesday
KAHULUI - "Maui Talks," a call-in program on Akaku: Maui Community Television, will be shown from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday on Channel 53.
Nikhilananda hosts the public affairs program. Viewers can call 873-3430 with comments; or 873-3430 from Molokai and Lanai.
Whenever the Maui County Council session runs long, the "Maui Talks" program moves to Channel 54.

Flu shot clinic offered Saturday
LAHAINA - Foodland Lahaina will hold a flu shot clinic from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday.
The flu shot is free for HMSA, HMA, Medicare Part B and HMSA Quest patients. All others pay $30 for the shot.
Bring an insurance card and a form of identification. Pharmacists from Foodland Pukalani will be administering the shots.
