Poinsettia sale at Kahului Union
KAHULUI - Kahului Union Church will hold its annual poinsettia sale at 8:30 a.m. Saturday.
The church will sell white or red blooming poinsettias in 6-inch pots for $5.25 each.

Chanukah Party to be held Sunday
MAKAWAO - The Jewish Congregation of Maui presents the annual Community Chanukah Party from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the Mayor Eddie Tam Memorial Center in Makawao.
The event that is open to the public will feature Israeli folk dancing, crafts and stories for the children, candle lighting and traditional Hanukkah food for sale.

Prayer and healing topic of speaker
KAHULUI - Martha Moffett will lecture on "Finding a Secure Place in God's Economy" at 1 p.m. Saturday at First Church of Christ, Scientist.
She is a teacher of Christian Science and works full time in healing practice. She was formerly a trial lawyer in the Department of Justice, and for three years she investigated conditions in prisons and refugee camps in the Middle East for a human rights organization. She lectures nationwide on the subject of prayer and healing.
