Looking for a fun place to take the kids Sunday? Celebrate traditions and make new ones at the annual Teddy Bear Tea at The Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua.
Presented in the resort's Salon Foyer from 2 to 4 p.m., the tea will feature food and drink for the young and the young at heart along with cookie decorating, storytelling, live piano music and cameo appearances by Frosty the Snowman, Chris the Christmas Bear and Santa Claus.
Bring your appetites and start with the chef's selection of tea sandwiches, which are egg and fresh chives, ham and asparagus, smoked Scottish salmon, and cucumber and Roquefort cheese.

Kid-friendly sandwiches include peanut butter and jelly, and peanut butter and fresh bananas. Sip hot chocolate, coffee, juices, and of course, special Ritz-Carlton herbal teas. Then dig into desserts such as scones with Devonshire cream and marmalade, and chocolate-chip cookies.
Pastry Chef Ashley Nakano will present a cookie-decorating station with teddy-bear shaped sugar cookies and she'll help the little ones dazzle with their creations. Cost of $45 for adults $45 and $30 for children includes tax and gratuity.
In addition, The Banyan Tree restaurant at the resort will feature special four-course wine dinners through Dec. 31, showcasing Silver Oak Cellars.
Christmas Eve, Santa Claus will be in the lobby from 4 to 8 p.m. along with live music and dance. Savor the season with dinners at the adjacent Kai Sushi or simply order pupu in the lounge.
Christmas Day, The Ritz-Carlton Kapalua will present an all-you-can-eat champagne buffet in The Terrace.
