CELEBRATE KWANZAA WITH POETRY, MUSIC
The African Americans on Maui Association will celebrate Kwanzaa from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Maui Mall. Kwanzaa is a weeklong celebration honoring the "first fruits," our ancestors, unity, creativity, self-determination, faith and economics. The celebration includes poetry, a presentation of the seven principles of Kwanzaa, African drumming, and more. For more information, call 870-6705.

SING ALONG AT THE MAKAWAO LIBRARY
Join in the joy of singing with "A Winter in Hawaii Sing-along" with Aubrey Myers at 10 a.m. Dec. 30 at Makawao Public Library. The free program will be held in the children's section. The interactive program will offer singing and dancing for children ages 3 and older. Myers, of La-ti-Da Music, is a musician and artist with more than 10 years of experience working with children. The Friends of the Library of Hawaii is sponsoring this one-hour program to offer parents and caregivers an opportunity to bond with their child in a creative environment. CONCERT BY MICK FLEETWOOD BAND
The Mick Fleetwood Blues Band with Eric Gilliom and Gretchen Rhodes will headline the Maui Celebrity Series concert at Maui Theatre in Lahaina at 8 p.m. Dec. 30. Fronted by guitarist/singer Rick Vito, the Grammy-nominated Blues Band includes bassist Lenny Castellanos and keyboardist Mark Johnstone. BARRY FLANAGAN AT MACC 'SOLO SESSIONS'
