KIHEI - Rachel Gabriella LoSchiavo and Noel Jonathan Withers are engaged to be married on Maui next spring.
She is the daughter of Joseph LoSchiavo of Corinth, Vt., and Karen Maurice of Waterbury, Vt. The bride-to-be graduated from Ft. Lewis College in cellular molecular biology with minors in chemistry and philosophy, and earned a master's degree in physician associate studies from Yale School of Medicine. She works at Seattle's Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in the Department of Bone Marrow Transplantation.
The groom-to-be is the son of Dr. John and Carole Withers - formerly of Kaupakulua and now of Durango, Colo. - and graduated from Seabury Hall. He holds bachelor's degrees from the University of Colorado in environmental studies and from Denver's Regis University in nursing. He is a master's degree candidate at the University of Hawaii in nurse practitioner family medicine and works at Maui Memorial Medical Center.
