A surfer gets in on the action Sunday at Honolua Bay, enjoying the last of the week’s hot waves. A crowd of surfers and body boarders came out to enjoy the weather, and spectators came out to watch them. The high surf that caused a bit of excitement last week was diminishing, and typical winter weather and surf are in the outlook for the rest of this week. That means trade winds with showers windward and ordinary surf.
