MAUI FRINGE FESTIVAL AT THE IAO
The inaugural Maui Fringe Festival will bring three days of theatrical experiments to the Historic Iao Theater in Wailuku. The program features a who's who of island theatrical talents in one-acts, improv sketches and other cutting-edge projects. Tickets are $10 per show. 'BIG BOYS DON'T CRY' AT KING KEKAULIKE
King Kekaulike High School's drama department production of "Big Boys Don't Cry" tackles hard-hitting issues that fall close to home for today's teens and their families. "I love Wailuku" is the theme for this week's Wailuku First Friday. A highlight of this monthly event is the launch of the first "I love Wailuku" video contest for 2-3 minutes entries. The winners will be announced and screened at the March 4 Wailuku First Friday. This week's live music will feature Cornerhouse at the Maui Thing stage; Olahou at the Native Intelligence stage; the Pam Peterson band in Wailuku Banyan Tree Park; and Gene and Shea Argel at Cafe O lei. Other highlights included food, artisans, art classes (free) at Phil Sabado's photo gallery, Baldwin High School students art for sale to benefit the BHS Art Department, wine tasting at Cafe O Lei, Historic Iao Theater's Maui Fringe Festival and more.

'SHAKE YOUR BODY' WITH JUDY'S GANG
Judy Ridolfino and her "Gang" of more than 150 dancers of 120 happy dancers of all ages will present "Shake Your Body from Head to Toe" at 7 p.m. Saturday on the Maui Arts & Cultural Center Castle Theater stage.
