Personal: Age 17; daughter of Rozitta and Louis Hoopai Jr.; enjoys singing, playing sports, dancing hula, hunting, fishing and cruising with family and friends.

Who is your personal hero and why? "I have been blessed with a mother whom I consider to be one of the most influential people in my life. Her unconditional love for her family and perseverance in the face of hardship make her an amazing role model. Unfortunately, due to the busyness of daily life, I don't always get to express to her how much she truly means to me when, in reality, her love and kindness have shaped me into the young woman I am today. Words cannot describe all the ways that she has affected me throughout my life and how much I admire her. She is my personal hero and I am truly grateful to call her my mother."
