‘Aging with aloha’ topic of community forum in Kihei on Wednesday

KIHEI - A community forum about "aging with aloha" in South Maui will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Kihei Charter School at the Lipoa Center.

Present will be Rita Barreras, director of the Aging with Aloha Coalition; John Buck, Mayor Alan Arakawa's executive assistant who handles Kihei issues; and mayoral executive assistant Bill Medeiros, who deals with East Maui/Lanai as well as youth and senior issues.

The event will be a "potluck style" forum. To make a reservation or for more information, call Patricia Rouse at 874-8696 or Aging With Aloha Coalition at 871-7749.

The Kihei Community Association is co-hosting the event with Aging With Aloha.
