KAHULUI -- A house fire late Sunday night apparently injured a woman who was attempting to fight the fire at her home in Kahului, fire officials said.
Battalion Chief Frank Tam said the woman was taken to Maui Memorial Medical Center, but he did not have information on her condition.
The fire was reported at 11:18 p.m. at 641 Kaimana St. and caused $200,000 in damages to the structure and $75,000 to its contents, Tam said. The fire was ruled accidental.
The woman was the lone occupant of the home, he said.
