CATCH LUCK OF IRISH AT MULLIGAN'S BASH

For many, the rainbow ends at Mulligan's on the Blue. The daylong (and nightlong) St. Patrick's Day festivities kick off at 6:30 a.m. with the second annual golf tournament at Wailea Blue Golf Course to benefit Hospice Maui. Then, a stacked lineup of entertainment at the Irish venue starts at 11 a.m. and continues until midnight; performers include Trevor Jones, Celtic Hart, Mean Fiddlers, The Isle of Maui Pipe Band featuring Jack Lee; The Celtic Tigers; Maui Pipe Dreams and The Willie K Band. Enter the Best Hat Contest and the Best Leprachaun Contest; check out food and drink specials. Doors open at 8 a.m. and no cover before 4 p.m. Tickets are $20 in advance; $25 at the door. SING ALONG, IRISH PUB STYLE IN C. MAUI

Sing along to Irish songs on St. Patrick's Day with Larry Sarner from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Wailuku Public Library. Bring your vocals, along with guitar, ukulele and other instruments. Song sheets will be provided. The free gathering will be similar to folk-type singing likely heard in Irish pubs. Celebrate luck and lust at The Emerald Ball at 9:30 p.m. at Casanova in Makawao. Presented by Kit Kat Club Cabaret, the "fancy dance party" will feature cabaret acts by the club and friends, face painting by Rachel Deboer, and a magical dance party by DJ?Sid and visual alchemist Douglas Deboer. Spring into the new season with Lahaina Gateway's "Gateway to Spring," the third-annual classic car and spring fashion show, from 4 to 9 p.m. in West Maui. The latest ladies' fashions from Mahina will be featured from 6 to 7 p.m., along with surf, casual and sportswear from Local Motion, Hawaii Golf & Tennis and Footlocker. Sixties surf and classic rock, Hawaiian and contemporary tunes with DJ Scott Doran, plus live entertainment, will be played.
