Fresh greens tossed into the mix

C.N. Farms workers (from left) Susana Ramos, Rosalinda Domingo and Olivia Magaoay combine a variety of salad greens Thursday in Omaopio. The mix of red oak lettuce, green oak lettuce, lollorosa, romaine, red mustard, japanese spinach, arugula and mizuna was rinsed twice and then put in centrifuges to be drained of liquid before being bagged for sale to Maui restaurants and hotels.
