DIVAS NIGHT OUT AT WAILEA'S SPA GRANDE
Divas need to de-stress, too, and Divas Night Out at Grand Wailea's Spa Grande makes it easy. NEVERMINDS TO PLAY COVERS AT CHARLEY'S
The Neverminds, one of Maui's most loved cover bands, will return to Charley's Saloon in Paia at 9 p.m. Band members will perform live tunes by MGMT, Kings of Leon, Radiohead, Franz Ferdinand, The Clash, Modest Mouse, U2, The Vines, The Killers, The Raconteurs, The Ramones, Green Day, Weezer, Oasis, Pixies, Cracker, Harvey Danger, Sublime, Cheap Trick, Supergrass, Nirvana, Lenny Kravitz and The Sex Pistols. The Neverminds include Mike Pearl on drums and vocals, Dave Vickers on bass and vocals, Nils Rosenblad on lead guitar and Andy Church on vocals and guitar. PEARL JAM BENEFIT FOR A GOOD CAUSE
Pearl Jam lead guitarist Mike McCready invites the public to a global fundraiser to benefit the nonprofit Advocacy for Patients with Chronic Illnesses. Hosted by Team McCready Hawaii Chapter, the event will feature live music with The Vince Esquire Band, Head High and Camp Savage at 9 p.m. at the Hard Rock Caf on Front Street in Lahaina. Similar fundraising events will take place in Australia, the U.K. and in multiple cities across the U.S. All proceeds from the cover charge of $10 at the door go directly to the nonprofit, which promotes patients' rights.
