The already-hot west side will get even hotter during the Red Hot Runway fashion event at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Hyatt Regency Maui. The poolside fashion show will bring TV's "Project Runway" stars Casanova, Mondo Guerra, Michael Drummond and Christopher Collins to the Hyatt to show their latest collections, and Hawaii's own "Project Runway" finalist, Andy South, of Oahu, will host. Presented by VIP Style and Hawaii Red Magazine, the night of high fashion and fun will feature live music by Omar and the Soultones, DJ music and dancing, and a meet-and-greet opportunity with the Lifetime Television designers. UH Maui College fashion students will help backstage, and Maui models will strut their stuff on the stage. Tickets are $35 for VIP and $25 for general admission. VIP Style is owned and operated by Cherisse Nichole, who has been working in the Maui fashion scene since 2004; Nichole launched the successful Fashionista's Market, along with other local fashion and beauty events.
