Maintaining a sunny outlook

May 10, 2011
The Maui News
Planted in rows and stretched tall by lifetimes competing for the sun, Norfolk pines bask in a windless morning Monday on Haiku’s Giggle Hill. The National Weather Service forecast scattered showers and a slight chance of thunderstorms today, with highs from 82 to 87 degrees and overnight lows of 67 to 72 degrees. Winds should blow out of the southeast around 15 mph. It’s expected to be mostly cloudy Wednesday, becoming partly cloudy Thursday through Saturday.
