KAHULUI - Maui Land & Pineapple Co. will auction its remaining golf course maintenance assets at 10 a.m. May 18 at its former pineapple cannery next to the Queen Ka'ahumanu Center.
Items available for sale include trucks, backhoes, a bulldozer, tractors, a mini-excavator, lawn maintenance equipment, utility tractors, passenger golf carts, pickup trucks and trailers.
Contractors, landscapers and others are encouraged to attend the auction or bid online. The free event is open to the public at the cannery located at 120 Kane St. in Kahului.
A preview of auction items will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday or by appointment.
The auction will be handled by Great American Group, an auction company specializing in construction equipment and materials. It also oversaw an auction of ML&P equipment in March 2009.
