FREE HAWAIIAN MUSIC SERIES IN LAHAINA

Bring friends, family, lunch, mats, chairs for the live Hawaiian music stylings of duo Mika Villaren and Keoki Ruiz from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Baldwin Home lawn in Lahaina. 11TH ANNUAL MAUI MATSURI / UH-MC CAMPUS

FREEDOM WITH AL TORRE AT MANDALA

PROGRESSIVE DINNER PARTY IN WEST MAUI

A feast for the eyes, taste buds and ears, the Lahaina Restoration Foundation's Progressive Dinner Party provides an evening of dining at three of Lahaina's fascinating historic sites along with music by Haiku Hillbillies and a dinner-theater performance by Great Scott Productions. Starting at 5:45 p.m., chefs of Mala Ocean Tavern, Star Noodle and Pineapple Grill are teaming up for courses at each site; free trolley/shuttle transportation included. ALL THINGS JAPANESE AT MATSURI FESTIVAL

Celebrate the diversity found in Japanese cultural arts and traditions with the 11th annual Maui Matsuri, a free festival from 2 to 9 p.m. at the University of Hawaii Maui College campus. Presented by Japanese Cultural Society of Maui, Maui Taiko, Hawai'i Tourism Authority and the County of Maui, the event includes Japanese and Okinawan cultural entertainment, cultural crafts for kids, demonstrations, exhibits and hands-on activities for adults, contests, food and more. MAUI BREWERS FEST KICKS OFF AT MACC

Beer, isle entertainment and ono food - it doesn't get much better than the annual Maui Brewers Festival at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center. The event from 3 to 7 p.m. will be stacked with top local entertainment including Alika Nakooka, Leche de Tigre, Kanekoa with Vince Esquire and headliner Anuhea.
