The Melting Pot upstairs in Lahaina Gateway shopping mall will celebrate its third anniversary with a special menu Saturday through Monday.

"We're celebrating three years of fondue in paradise with three nights of three courses for only $30," says the Melting Pot's General Manager Cindy DellaFave. "The special menu will include your choice of cheese fondue, followed by an entree featuring citrus-marinated pork, teriyaki steak, garlic-chili shrimp and chicken pot stickers served with fresh vegetables and delicious dipping sauces and finished off with decadent chocolate fondue."

For the uninitiated, The Melting Pot is part of a fine-dining fondue franchise with more than 100 restaurants across the nation and more in development.

Chocolate fondue makes a delectable dessert with items such as fresh fruits, brownies and Rice Krispie pieces for dipping. Ask about the Girl’s Night Out or graduation party options.

Cook these items in your choice of hot broth or oil and them dip them into a wide range of sauces, many new.

You may savor a flight of four, 3-ounce pours of wines from Argentina and Chile for $14 or enjoy them by the glass or by the bottle. Kamaaina get 15 percent off this Big Night Out meal any night of the week.

The little ones will also enjoy starlight storytime from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursdays where local stories are read on the lanai so parents can enjoy a quiet and romantic moment together.
