Champs muscle behind wash

Second photo: Gabe Agmata, 16, and Ian Miguel, 12, dry a car. Agmata won a gold and a silver at this year's state championships, while Miguel took home a silver and a bronze. They are both scheduled to compete next month in the Junior Olympics and national championships.

Third photo: Jillian Crawford, 13, works at a rinse station as she and other members of Maui Taekwondo wash cars in the St. Theresa Church parking lot last weekend in Kihei. Crawford is a high red belt who won three gold medals at this year's state championships. The carwash was held to raise funds to help send Crawford and 10 other club members to compete in the Junior Olympics and national championships next month in San Jose, Calif.
