The movie featuring Kenneth Copeland and T-Bone is open to the public.

Guest to deliver sermons, lectures
WAILUKU - The editor of The Christian Chronicle, the Church of Christ publication, will be giving sermons and lectures Sunday at the Maui Church of Christ.
Lynn A. McMillon, who also is president and chief executive officer of the publication, will base his sermons on the Book of Hebrews. The topics will include "The Finality of God's Word, Hebrews 1:1-3" for the morning worship service; "The Preeminence of Jesus Christ, Hebrews 1-4:16" for the adult class and "Their Problems are Our Problems" for the evening adult class.
Adult and children classes begin at 9:30 a.m., worship services at 10:30 a.m. and evening services at 6. There also are Wednesday evening services that start at 7.
The Maui Church of Christ is at 810 Waiehu Beach Road.

Shavuot celebration begins Tuesday
KIHEI - The Jewish Congregation of Maui will be celebrating the Festival of Shavuot from Tuesday to Thursday at the synagogue.
Also known as the Festival of Weeks, Festival of First Fruits and Festival of the Giving of the Law, Shavuot gets under way Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. with a light Mitzvah meal, a service and a study session, covering the Bible with a focus on the anniversary of Moses receiving the law at Mount Sinai.
On Wednesday, there will be a Shavuot service beginning at 9:30 a.m. It will be a traditional festival morning service with the reading of the Adkamaut and the Ten Commandments.
The last day of the festival begins at 9:30 a.m. with a Shavuot Festival Service. This will include chanting from the Book of Ruth as well as a Yizkor memorial service remembering loved ones who have died.
The cost for the meal is $18. RSVP with the office or by calling 874-5397 by Monday. The Jewish Congregation of Maui is located at 634 Alulike St. in north Kihei.

Graduates to be honored at services
MAKAWAO - Makawao Union Church will be honoring its high school and college graduates and celebrate their accomplishments at worship services on Sunday, beginning at 10:30 a.m.
A reception for the graduates will be held after worship, and members of the public are welcome to join the celebration.

Blessing of new entryway planned
KULA - Members of Waipuna Chapel will be holding a grand opening and blessing for their new covered entryway Sunday, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
A potluck dinner will follow the ceremony. At 7 p.m. in the sanctuary, there will be a Retro Praise & Worship Concert.
