HAWAIIAN MUSIC SERIES IN W. MAUI

Hawaiian musician Kawika Ho'opi'i and his trio will be joined by respected cultural connoisseur and kumu hula Cliff Pali Ahue to share music, dance and storytelling during a free concert from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. today at the Baldwin Home lawn in Lahaina. BLUE NOTE SWING ORCHESTRA AT HYATT

The Blue Note Swing Orchestra, of Citrus College in California, will heat up the summer nights at the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa with a free performance from 7 to 11 tonight. Internationally known as one of the premier jazz ensembles in the U.S., the group has recorded for major motion pictures and commercials and won festivals throughout the U.S. and Europe.
