Pillowcases donated

July 15, 2011
The Maui News
Grace Bible Church-Wailuku Extension Sunday school students sewed pillowcases for the Hanai Coalition, a group of agencies and parents interested in helping foster, adopted and hanai children as well as those in legal guardianship. With the help of Sew Special on July 9, the youths created the pillowcases that were given to Singer Discount Fabric, which distributed them to the Hanai Coalition. Shown with their pillowcases are (back row from left) Cassie Inouye, Kylie Zanger, Kayla Kanemitsu and Lauren Kanemitsu; (front row from leftt) LeAnna Kanemitsu and Cassidy Kiyabu. Also helping with this project were Roy Huntley, owner of Sew Special, and Kathy Kanemitsu and Julie Hoover, both teachers at Grace Bible Church’s Wailuku Extension.
