It's all in the family for Tivaini "Tiva" Tatofi. The founding member of Kapena will be performing with his son, father, sister and other family members during a free show from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Hale Makua in Wailuku. COMPOSERS, POETRY, RECITAL IN WAILUKU
Soprano Sarah Oppenheim-Beggs and pianist Suzanne Garramone will perform a recital of 20th and 21st century American and British composers at 2 p.m. at the Iao Congregational Church in Wailuku. Oppenheim-Beggs is a voice teacher, the musical director of The Olinda Chorale and the artistic director for Musical Voices Maui. Garramone is an adjunct professor of piano at University of San Francisco and is a member of the musical group Sonic Forest.
